I wasn’t prepared for how emotional the Fragrance of Asia 2026 would become.
Before we flew to Kuala Lumpur, I was nervous.
Not because of the exhibition itself, but because I kept wondering:
Would anyone understand what we’re trying to build?
Introvert has never been just another perfume brand.
From the beginning, it was an idea that felt deeply personal.
An idea born from being an introvert who genuinely loves fragrance.
I have always believed that fragrance doesn’t have to be loud to be memorable.
That beauty can exist in subtlety. That quiet people deserve to feel represented too.
But believing something by yourself is very different from watching complete strangers believe it with you.
Over those three days, something unexpected happened.
People didn’t just stop to smell our perfumes.
They stayed. They asked questions.
They shared stories. Again and again, we heard the same question.
“Why is your perfume called Introvert?” At one point, I joked that I had answered that question more than a thousand times.
But strangely…
I never got tired of answering it.
Because every answer reminded me why Introvert exists.
One conversation became another.
Then another.
Some visitors quietly told us,
“I feel represented.”

Others smiled and said,
“Wah… so introvert.”
Some laughed because they had never seen perfumes named X01 or X07 instead of romantic names. Others told us they usually didn’t like jasmine, yet somehow loved X01.
Or that they never enjoyed woody fragrances until they smelled X07.
Those conversations meant more to me than they probably realized. Because they reminded me that fragrance is deeply personal.
There isn’t one perfume for everyone.
There is simply the one that feels like you.
Perhaps my favorite moment wasn’t when X01, X02, and X03 sold out. It wasn’t seeing people talk about us online.
It wasn’t hearing that Introvert had become one of the most talked-about brands during the event.
Those moments were exciting, and I’m incredibly grateful for them.
But what stayed with me after I returned home was something much quieter.
It was realizing that people understood. They understood why our fragrances don’t shout.
Why they’re numbered instead of named.
Why we don’t tell people which bottle they should buy.
They understood the heart behind Introvert.
As someone who naturally prefers listening over speaking, building a brand has often felt contradictory.
Founders are expected to constantly promote themselves.
To be visible. To always have something to say.
Sometimes I wondered if an introvert could really build a brand in such a noisy world.
Fragrance of Asia answered that question for me.
The answer is yes. Not because we became louder.
But because we stayed honest. People don’t connect with volume.
They connect with authenticity.
And authenticity has a quiet way of finding the people it’s meant to reach.
So today, my heart is simply full.
Grateful for every conversation.
Every question.
Every smile.
Every person who walked away carrying not just a bottle, but a feeling of being understood.
If you were one of those people, thank you.
You reminded me that there are far more quiet souls in this world than we often realize.
And perhaps that’s what Introvert has always been searching for.
Not everyone.
Just each other.
